Autism Awareness

The newest report by the CDC finds that 1 out of every 166 children have autism. These disorders are four times more common in boys than girls. The causes of autism and PDD are unknown. Currently, researchers are investigating areas such as neurological damage and biochemical imbalance in the brain. These disorders are not caused by psychological factors.

The puzzle piece that is often used as a symbol of Autism, reflects the mystery and complexity of autism. The different colors and shapes of the crystals represent the diversity of people and families living with this disorder.

The beautiful "hope" bead represents our hope ~ hope through research and in the increasing awareness of people like you that we might find a cure.

As on these signature bracelets, there is hope at the end of the rainbow.
